Krista elliott

If I had a grain of sand for every time I've been told "You have SUCH a way with words!" I would now own a small beach. I'm fascinated by language and its ability to evoke inspiration, emotion, and even action. I love finding the perfect turn of phrase for my clients, pinpointing the elusive words that transform disconnected thoughts into a clear and compelling message.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Dalhousie University in Halifax, followed by my Advanced Diploma in Public Relations from the Nova Scotia Community College. After almost a decade of experience in the field of public relations, I've become enamoured with the dynamic energy of web writing and inbound marketing. Freelancing has given me the opportunity to dive into projects where my warped sense of humour is an asset, as well as projects where Very Serious Writing is required — and I love it all.

Companies or organizations of any size who are struggling with finding the words that not only attract (and keep!) supporters, but that speak clearly in an authentic and consistent voice. I also love projects that allow me to combine writing and layout design, such as newsletters and annual reports.

Krista has worked with Kula Partners over the past number of months as a freelance copywriter. The quality of her work has been excellent, but even more importantly, Krista has been extremely flexible and able to adapt to the needs of our clients. She responds well to feedback, incorporating it seamlessly into the work and our team has found her to be pleasant and easy to get along with. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Krista for all manner of inbound copywriting.
