At heart, I'm a creative problem solver. When developing any sort of concept, I do so with what some would describe as an over-the-top sense of what it will take to see the idea through to execution - and the ultimate affect on the consumer.
Understanding the timeless consumer truths that appeal to specific audiences and demographics, coupled with a desire to influence and create meaningful experiences at every turn, is what dictates my creative process.
My formal education includes engineering and graphic design. So whether I'm creating a functional ironman, or dinosaur suit, or planning video projections on water, the logistics and structural considerations required to fully execute are considered throughout my process. For me, perfecting the ability to combine these two ways of thinking - the how and the why - is how I've been able to create memorable and award-winning brands and experiences over the course of my 15 year advertising career.
Outside of being recognized for my advertising achievements, I have been a huge believer in our local culture - so much so that in 2010 I decided it was time to make my own contribution by creating the Dartmouth Clothing Company.
Much more than a local clothing company, the Dartmouth Clothing Company has gained international acclaim and garnered group followings from across the globe, even catching the attention of world innovation leaders at Adobe.
Adobe’s Senior Creative Director has personally commissioned shirt designs, inviting me to participate in Adobe’s Art Directors International Masterclass in Boulder, Co. in 2013
